In his chat he said he doesnt take other prospect lists into account. He evaluates players himself and makes his rankings based on his own eyes.

I appreciate that opinion more than just compiling lists based on others' information.

Yeah, the problem with this is that one man can't possibly have enough time to get much of a read on every single potential prospect, and it leaves him probably giving more credit to guys he's seen "with his own eyes" most often.

And seriously, it's not like all the other experts don't SPEND THEIR CAREERS examining minor leaguers with their own eyes.

I know that this isn't exactly Weiters or Reimold related, however, I saw Matt La Porta's name on the 1B list. He was someone I was hoping we would have drafted last year, but didn't manage to. Being in the Milwaukee system, and seeing as they have Fielder manning 1B for a while, what are the chances we could trade for him, when he becomes eligible to be traded?
